Hi! I’m Scott Gieser, of Geezer Fishing Company. I’m the real GEEZER!! (Yes, my last name is pronounced how the company spells it)  A family owned and operated company.

The name just kinda came to us. It worked. 

The team and I were working on everything to every detail. We had the factory ready. We had the molds ready. We had the painters ready. We had the designs and ideas ready to rock. We just didn’t have a name. 

My son was browsing a big retailer that had a TON of fishing equipment, and I was killing time looking at all my future competitors. I just kept noticing so many had missed the mark with some clever names. 

As I sat down, it came to me. Geezer Fishing Co. 

Don’t wait until you’re old to be a geezer. Makin ‘em like they used to. Something Catchy. 

Basically a legit, high-end lure company, with humor and fun at the same time. We’re here for a good time. And a long time. 

I had several lure names written down and shared with my (then 15yo) son. His eyes lit up and he went to work. And there’s where the Dagnabbnit and Skedaddle came about. Among many more. Now we have added Catawampus, Cranky and Codger to the mix. Pops is on its way. As well as several others. 

It works. It’s funny. The ones that don’t like are dumb and guaranteed to be the buzzkill at the party. 

We are pro built, pro designed. We have purpose behind every decision. Every detail and idea is focused on the angler catching his or her next fish. And hopefully their personal best!!! 

We added the fun with the names and colors and hope you love the apparel too. 

We’re based in Granbury, Texas. Myself, my wife (Summer) and our son (Shane) do everything. A true small business.
